Made for Arizona backyards.

An Arizona patio takes a beating no interior surface has to handle. Direct summer sun, afternoon monsoon downpours, freeze-thaw cycles in the high desert, splash-over from pools, and years of foot traffic — most standard exterior paints or sealers give up in a season or two.

Our patio coating system is a completely different animal. We start with a full diamond-ground preparation of your existing concrete, repair every crack and spall, then install a 100%-solids resin base with a decorative flake broadcast. The finish layer is a UV-stable clear topcoat that resists yellowing, chalking, and pool-chemistry attack.

The result is a patio that looks intentional — like it was part of the original design — and holds that look through Arizona summer after Arizona summer.

Pool decks & covered patios.

Pool decks and covered patios have specific needs: slip resistance when wet, cooler surface temperatures underfoot, and a finish that plays nicely with chlorinated water and sunscreen splash-off.

We tune the system for those conditions. Lighter flake blends with high solar reflectance reduce heat transfer to bare feet. An optional non-slip additive is broadcast into the topcoat for wet-area traction without a rough, painful texture. And the polyaspartic clear rinses clean with a garden hose.

If your patio is currently stained, cracked, or embarrassing when guests come over, a coating is almost always faster, cleaner, and more affordable than tearing out and re-pouring the slab.

FAQ

Answers, upfront.

Still curious? Call (480) 465-1871 and one of our owners will pick up.

Will a coated patio be too hot to walk on in the summer?+

Not when it's specified correctly. Lighter flake blends and specialty pigments dramatically reduce surface temperature vs. a solid dark coating. On pool decks and covered patios, cool-to-the-touch options are standard.

Can you coat over an existing sealer or paint?+

Only after mechanical prep. We diamond grind through existing coatings to reach sound concrete — the only way to guarantee long-term adhesion in Arizona conditions.

How does the coating handle monsoon storms?+

Beautifully. The polyaspartic topcoat is impermeable to water once cured, and the mechanical bond to the concrete means water can't undermine the coating from below.

Is the finish slippery when wet?+

The decorative flake gives it natural traction. For pool decks or wet-heavy areas we can also broadcast a non-slip additive into the topcoat.

How long will it last outdoors?+

Installed to spec, our exterior systems routinely last 8–12+ years. UV protection is designed in — not an afterthought.

Do you coat pool decks?+

Yes. Pool decks are one of our most common exterior projects and we spec the system for chlorinated water and bare-feet use.
